Benoit Martel

President and Founder of R2i

Benoit has been in the business and IT sector for more than 25 years. He began his career as an IT advisor, supporting multinational organizations in their strategic decisions. He then founded R2i in 2014. Thanks to his leadership and extensive technical skills, he knows how to mobilize teams that go above and beyond to provide the best service possible. Colleagues say he’s a very good listener and a brave leader. And he never shies away from risks.

Tamara Vandersluis

Vice-President of Innovation

With more than three decades of experience, Tamara has earned a global reputation for her expertise in performance analytics, optimization, and capacity planning with IBM Power Systems. She’s overseen every major Power Systems project in Canada and was even named “Best of the Best” at the IBM Power training camp in 2016. Tamara is renowned for her tenacity and in-depth systems status reports that spot problems before they even occur.

Frédéric Marcil

IT Director

Frédéric has more than 25 years of experience in the IT world, more specifically with the IBM i system as well as high availability and replication solutions. Over the years, he has become an invaluable resource for organizations thanks to his meticulous preparation and timely, effective interventions with clients. Frédéric is also an excellent communicator and loves sharing his passion and knowledge.

Bernard Deschênes

Vice-President Operations

Bernard has more than 30 years under his belt in the IT sector. His pragmatism enables him to find solutions for strategic and operational challenges of every kind. He loves implementing solutions that are aligned with the industry’s best practices to meet set objectives. Bernard also has several years of experience as a team manager. He views IT as a field that relies on technology but one that also involves humans and teamwork.

Nicolas Brodeur

Solution Architecture Director

Nicolas is a solution architect who has been in the world of IT for nearly three decades. He specializes in traditional, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions. Throughout his career, he has always focused on helping clients increase, improve, or transform their environment. Nicolas is a mobilizing leader who helps build bridges between various business units.
