I wish I knew about this tool years ago! It would have saved a lot of analysis time and been far more precise on what needs to be changed at the ‘line of code’ level. The automated analyser will estimate the improvement expected (runtime etc.…) as well as the effort in programmer hours to do the changes. The data collection piece of GiAPA is very much like IBM performance tools,  it runs 24/7 and is extremely lightweight.
